Fraglia Vela di Malcesine

Fraglia Vela Malcesine is located in Navene, 4 kilometers north from the town of Malcesine, on the north-west coast of Lake Garda: an extremely favourable position for training and racing or learning about sail, taking advantage of the famous winds of Garda.

Fraglia Vela from North to South

The harbour finds place in the North area and includes the 240 berths of Marina Navene, the petrol station, the crane area for launching and hauling out, the dedicated zone for specialized companies for ordinary maintenance of boats.  

Between harbour and club house building there is the main boat parking for dinghies and boat storage during training and regattas, served by a big concrete slipway.

The Club-house, under the roof made of grass, includes from north to south the Restaurant/Bar “Via col Vento”, the Secretary Office, the rooms of Fraglia Vela Malcesine and the FVM GYM.

In the South area you find the School “Europa Surf and Sail”, the other boat parking, the access to the floatable piers for regattas and guests.

Marina Navene

Located in the natural bay of Navene near the little village, Marina Navene is in the north area of Fraglia.

It is located in a favourable position protected against winds thanks to Navene and Campagnola’s headlands.

Inside at the harbour are moored sailboats and motorboats, as motor navigation is allowed in Veneto region’s territorial area of Lake Garda.

Headquarter

Through the big dome of the main entrance you come into the Club House. 

Inside the Club there are the Secretary/ Race Office and the school rooms.

Four rooms are available for sailing school and for Race/Jury Committee and media press during regattas.

A room of up to one hundred people can instead accommodate events, meetings, board meetings and trade exhibitions.

Outside, next to the main entrance, are located two big downstairs changing rooms with showers and toilets.

South harbour

The south harbour is constituted by two floating piers that can accomodate a total of 90 boats up to 10 meters. 

It is dedicated to the mooring of monotypes and coach RIBs during race days while in other periods is for temporary mooring (daily or weekly) of cabin sailboats and rubber boats during holidays in Malcesine.

Car park

The car park available for Fraglia Vela Malcesine and Marina Navene Users offers 120 parking stalls, 60 parking stalls on top level outside and 60 covered parking stalls in north and south garages.

Fully automated the car park is open 24hours at cost of €1/hour, past the first half an hour free. 

During regattas days it could be entirely reserved for sailors and guests.

We are open all year long.

The opening hours of the Club House and Secretary Office is: 

• from 9am to 12pm
• from 2pm to 6pm
