Sailing course for kids on Lake Garda
Summer on sailing boats with Fraglia Vela Malcesine instructors
As soon as the school year is over, the sailing school summer season opens!
Courses are for groups, with maximum 18 participants. They are open to all levels, both beginners and more expert, starting from 6 years old. Our instructors divide the group in small teams, based on personal skills and needs, creating the most suitable path for each child.
At the end of a week’s course, children are able to enter/exit the water autonomously and safely carry out the basic maneuvers.

How long is the sailing course
Every course lasts 5 days, from Monday to Friday. You can choose the option “morning only” (from 09.00 to 13.00), or “daily” (from 09.00 to 16.00). The course “only morning” ends at 13.00, before the lunch break.
It is possible to take part in more than one course and we have promotional prices for who takes part in more than three courses.
Course details
The day starts at 09.00, with the kids welcome at our headquarters. We continue with a brief description of the daily activities and then we go in the water. We come back ashore around 12.30, to tidy up all the boats and get change. Before lunch there is a short talk about the morning activities.
At 13.00 lunch is served at the restaurant inside the club, with a single dish, fruits and water. After lunch there is a moment to relax, play and socialize.
The afternoon is dedicated to seafaring activities, together with the windsurfing school participants. During the week children can try to paddle a kayak, test their equilibrium on a SUP, sail on our cabin cruiser catamaran and try our keelboats together with our instructors.

Download the registration form that you find below, fill it out and send it back to us by email at race@fragliavela.org, or bring it to the office, together with:
- medical certificate (expiration date after the end of the course)
- child ID card and fiscal code
