2021 regattas at Fraglia Vela Malcesine

Every year Fraglia Vela Malcesine organises many prestigious events, for a total of 90 days of events in 2021, divided in 20 local, national and international regattas, with over 30.000 expected daily presences.

VISIT THE 2021 REGATTA CALENDAR

In 2021 the most important events are:

Laser Youth Easter Meeting (31 March – 2 April): the historical Eastern event organised by Fraglia for the young guys of the laser class, that every year attracts sailors from all Europe.

Foiling Week (1-4 July): for the 8th consecutive year, the week dedicated to foiling boats comes back to Malcesine, with races, courses and conferences for all the flying boats fans. This year the Foiling week will be also the perfect test for the 2021 Worlds, held in Malcesine from the 2nd of September.

RS Aero World Championship (31 July – 6 August): After the success of the 2019 Europeans, the RS Aero class comes back to Malcesine with over 150 sailors coming from all over the world.

Simone Lombardi Trophy (10-12 August): the historical summer event, with almost 400 sailors between 9 and 15 years-old, coming from all Europe.

Moth World Championship (2-7 September): it comes back to Malcesine the Moth Worlds, after the edition of records in 2017, with 240 sailors coming from 25 different countries. Tom Slingsby, 2019 World Championship (and Olympic Gold Medal with Laser in London 2012), will have to defend the title from the numerous attacks of fierce opponents.
