2024 regattas at Fraglia Vela Malcesine

Every year Fraglia Vela Malcesine organises many prestigious events, for a total of 80 days of events, divided in local, national and international regattas, with over 30.000 expected daily presences.

Some of the most important events of the 2024 calendar are:

Ilca Youth Easter Meeting (27 – 30 March): the historical Eastern event organised by Fraglia for the young guys of the Ilca class, that every year attracts sailors from all over the world. 

Foiling Week, 11th edition (24 – 30 June): one week dedicated to foiling boats comes back to Malcesine, with races, courses and conferences for all the flying boats fans.

Youth Sailing World Championship (13 – 20 July): for the first time, Italy, and in particular the Alto Garda, will host the most important World Sailing event after the Olympics. Over 900 sailors from all over the world will compete in the waters of Lake Garda to win the title of Youth World Champion.

Simone Lombardi Trophy (6 – 8 August): the historical summer event, with 400 sailors between 9 and 15 years-old, coming from all Europe.
